"The beautiful practice of yoga brings grace, strength and overall health to life. The joy and challenge of asana has time and time again brought me back to my mat, and I love sharing this practice with others. I believe yoga helps us to be present in the moment and to find beauty in transitions, both on and off the mat. My classes are full of energy, focus on alignment and breath, and are creatively sequenced to open up the body to work into a peak posture. Namaste."

How do you balance your yoga practice and life? My yoga practice is what brings balance to my every day life.  This practice, both on and off the mat, is such a huge part of who I am. I don't think I can really find separation between the two. 

What is your favorite part about your practice? I love to challenge myself when practicing.  It is so fun for me to experiment trying different postures. When you can find stillness of mind and be with the breath in those asanas you have been working on, it is such an amazing feeling.


What inspires you? Watching my students evolve and deepen their yoga practice brings me inspiration.

When did you start practicing yoga and why? I started yoga after graduating college in 2006 but it was more of an off an on practice at first before becoming much more serious over the past 4 or 5 years.  I found The Yoga Loft in my town and fell in love right after my first vinyasa class.  I loved the stillness of mind that came with the practice and the physical challenge of asana. 

How has yoga changed your day-to-day life? It has helped me to be more present in the current moment. 

What's your biggest fear? The mundane.

What do you love most about Buddhaful Souls Yoga Studio? I love the sangha (community) of students and teachers! There is such a wonderful group of people coming together through a love of yoga and I am so happy to be a part of it.
